About PlayWith Education
Play With Education provides help for a subject that is not easy to teach: writing. When you grade math papers, the answers are either right or wrong. Evaluating your student’s writing includes so many more components and presents a multitude of areas that interact. You’re not certain what to say about the paragraph, your kids are hurt by (or disagree with) your comments, and you’re nervous because you know you will not catch all the grammar errors. You look ahead and worry because your child must learn how to write essays before going to college or stepping into a career, but you’re not certain how to achieve that goal.
You don’t have to teach WriteShop I or II alone. We’re here to help. You have three options:
- You can take our course for parents on “How to Edit WriteShop I or II Papers.” It will guide you past the fear and into an area of confidence. If you come across sections of papers that you’re not sure of, we’ll be here to help.
- Along with taking the editing course for parents, you can enroll your student in the video course for WriteShop I or II. Your student will watch our videos, read the WriteShop Student Manual, write his or her papers, and then you will grade them.
- You can enroll your student in the video course that includes full editing services. We will do it all for you (leaving you free to spend time with your family instead of struggling with compositions, confident that your child is in experienced hands).
Our Video Lessons
Our goal is to make sure every one of our videos incorporate an entertaining blend of colors, images, and text to accompany our friendly narration. Each 10- to 15-minute video introduces students to the key points of WriteShop’s lesson in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Here is a sample of one of our lessons:

Empowering Parents
We provide all of our parents with thorough instructions in all aspects of teaching the WriteShop I or II program, including how to edit student papers. Our goal is to make sure that you have everything you need to teach confidently your Junior High or High School student.
